NEW ORLEANS (AP) — Atlanta receiver Julio Jones has been activated for Sunday's pivotal NFC South game against New Orleans.

Jones, whose 1,428 yards receiving rank second in the NFL, returns despite missing last week's loss to Pittsburgh with a hip injury, and not practicing the past two weeks.

The Saints have scratched safety Jamarca Sanford, who pulled his hamstring during his first start this season in Chicago last Monday and did not practice this week.

Saints left tackle Terron Armstead, held out of practice all week with a neck strain, also has been scratched.

Corey White, a healthy scratch last Monday night, is active again, while rookie receiver Seantavius Jones and rookie cornerback Stanley Jean-Baptiste are healthy scratches.

Atlanta has deactivated starting guard Jon Asamoah, who has a back injury. But starting safety William Moore, who was listed questionable Friday with a foot injury, is active.
