POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. (AP) — Isaiah Miles scored a career-high 23 points — 17 of which came in the first half — to lead Saint Joseph's to a 75-58 win over Marist on Saturday night.
DeAndre Bembry added 16 points and grabbed nine rebounds for the Hawks (6-4). Aaron Brown chipped in 10 points from the bench. The team hit 56 percent from the field overall and 63.2 percent from the line.
Miles sank a jumper, a layup and one from distance within three minutes to help give Saint Joseph's a 33-9 lead with 5:43 to go in the first half. The Hawks led 37-22 at the break.
In the second, Bembry, Brown and Shavar Newkirk took over, maintaining the Hawks' double-digit advantage through most of the period.
Chavaughn Lewis had 15 points and five assists for the Red Foxes (1-10). Phillip Lawrence added 14.
