BINGHAMTON, N.Y. (AP) — Marcus Posely scored 20 points and had four steals, Dion Wright added 13 points, and St. Bonaventure beat Binghamton 69-51 on Saturday to give the 7-2 Bonnies their best start to a season since the 2001-02 team started 8-2.

Dion Wright scored 13 points for the Bonnies, Jaylen Adams had 12, and Youssou Ndoye, the Atlantic 10 Conference's leading rebounder, had 11 boards.

Yosef Yacob opened with a jumper for Binghamton, but it was all St. Bonaventure after that. Andell Cumberbatch's jumper kicked off a 13-4 run and the Bonnies led 26-22 at halftime.

The Bonnies used an 8-2 run to lead 34-24 in the second half after a 3-pointer by Adams. Binghamton pulled within one point, 35-34, after a jumper by Nick Madray, but Adams hit two 3-pointers and Posely added two more and the Bonnies pulled away.

Madray scored 20 for Binghamton (1-12), who have lost 10 straight.
