Volaris begins Cancun route at Las Vegas airport

LAS VEGAS (AP) — Mexican airline Volaris says it's twice a week flights linking Las Vegas and Cancun, Mexico have begun.

The airline announced Thursday that it would offer one flight twice a week, every Thursday and Sunday.

It's the only flight linking Las Vegas with the tropical destination and the airline's first international flight from Cancun.

Volaris also flies between Las Vegas and Guadalajara and Mexico City.

The airline says the flight is scheduled to leave Cancun at 9:05 a.m. arriving in Las Vegas at 12:15 p.m. and leave Las Vegas at 1:35 p.m. for a Cancun landing at 8:05 p.m.
