MURRAY, Ky. (AP) — Jarvis Williams had 22 points and Cameron Payne scored 14 points and dished out nine assist to lead Murray State to a 94-56 rout over Alcorn State on Wednesday night.

Williams shot 6 of 8 from the floor and 10 of 14 from the line. T.J. Sapp scored 21 points, including five from long range, and Jeffery Moss chipped in 10 for Murray State (7-4), which shot 31 of 48 for 64.6 percent from the floor.

Murray State closed on a 10-0 surge to take a 40-24 halftime lead, and opened the second with a 13-3 run to make it 53-27 with 16:40 left. The Racers had a 33-point lead with 7:34 to play.

Marquis Vance had 15 points and seven rebounds to lead Alcorn State (1-8). Leantwan Luckett scored 13 points, Keynan Pittman added 12 and Juwan Henderson had six assist for the Braves.
