YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (AP) — Nigel Pruitt scored 29 points and Delbert Love had 24 to lead Kennesaw State over Youngstown State 90-84 on Wednesday.

Kennesaw State (4-7) used a 10-4 run at the end of the first half — including five from Yonel Brown — to take a 46-41 lead into the break. Youngstown State got the deficit to four with 17 seconds left in the game, but DJ Cole's 3-point attempt with 8 seconds missed and Pruitt's free throws clinched it.

The Owls shot 53 percent from the floor and were 11 of 25 (44 percent) from beyond the arc. Love had seven rebounds and five assists, while Brown finished 18 points and eight assists. Orlando Coleman and Jordan Jones dominated the boards with 12 and 10 rebounds respectively.

Youngstown State (7-6) was led by Bobby Hain with 26 points and 17 rebounds. Shawn Amiker had 21 points and DJ Cole added 18.
