OAKLAND, Calif. (AP) — Golden State Warriors center Andrew Bogut's troublesome right knee will keep him out against the Oklahoma City Thunder on Thursday night.
The Warriors on Wednesday listed Bogut and forward David Lee out for the game. It will be the fifth straight game Bogut has missed, while Lee has only played in one game because of a strained left hamstring.
The team originally said Bogut had tendinitis and now lists him as having knee chondromalacia and bone edema, a painful injury that causes bone marrow to swell and absorb fluid.
Bogut said before Golden State's loss at Memphis on Tuesday — which ended a 16-game winning streak — that he hadn't felt any improvement since leaving in the first quarter against Minnesota on Dec. 8. He also had his knee drained last week.
