BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) — Keith Davis had 22 points with nine rebounds and Tre Lynch chipped in 20 points as Southern rolled past Champion Baptist 114-50 on Tuesday night.

The Jaguars (3-8) shot 64.4 percent from the field, out-rebounded the Tigers 53-18 and had six players in double figures. Southern dominated inside, finishing with 25 layups and five dunks.

Adrian Rogers scored 14 points, Joell Hopkins added 13 and Jared Sam and Trelun Banks each had 12. Sam grabbed 10 boards and blocked two shots.

Champion Baptist, which trailed 44-0 before falling 116-12 last season against Southern, was held to 19-of-61 shooting. Cody Conner paced the Tigers with 17 points and seven boards, while Stephen Hunt and David Garner had eight points apiece.

Davis hit five layups, a dunk and a jumper to move out to a 29-19 lead. Southern rolled to a 57-23 halftime lead and coasted in the second half.
