TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (AP) — Justin Gant scored 14 points on 6-of-9 shooting from the field and grabbed 11 rebounds to lead Indiana State to a 78-68 victory over Truman State on Tuesday night.

Khristian Smith also finished with 14 points for the Sycamores (4-6), while Devonte Brown and Grant Prusator each added 11. Brown also pulled down nine boards and had six assists.

Indiana State was on point offensively for much of the night, shooting 50 percent from the field while getting to free throw line 21 times as a team. The Sycamores also dominated the glass, finishing with a 49-30 advantage.

Indiana State led by six at halftime, but managed to push its lead as high as 19 midway through the second half.

Isaac Gardner led Truman State with 20 points off the bench and Reed Mells added 11.
