KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) — The Raiders are without linebacker Sio Moore and safety Larry Asante, both pivotal in shutting down Chiefs star Jamaal Charles last month, for Sunday's game in Kansas City.
Moore is out with a hip injury. Asante went on injured reserve this week with a shoulder injury.
Oakland, which has only four healthy linebackers, did get some positive news when cornerback Tarell Brown felt good enough to start. He had been a game-time decision with foot and ankle injuries.
The Chiefs are without wide receiver Donnie Avery, who practiced fully Friday despite a groin injury. Defensive end Allen Bailey and cornerback Phillip Gaines are also out with concussions.
