POCATELLO, Idaho (AP) — Jeffrey Solarin finished with 20 points and 14 rebounds to lead Idaho State to a 69-57 win over Division II opponent Northwest Nazarene.

Chris Hansen contributed 17 points, including three 3-pointers, and doled out seven assists for the Bengals. Nnamdi Ezenwa had 13 points, five rebounds and four assists as the Bengals shot 54.2 percent from the field.

Kevin Rima and Aubrey Ball had 13 points apiece with Rima adding eight boards for Northwest Nazarene.

Tied at 22 in the first half, Idaho State closed out the half on an 11-0 run capped by back-to-back 3-pointers from Hansen. In the second, Northwest Nazarene inched back within five with 5:01 remaining after an Alex Birketoft 3-pointer, but could not close out as Idaho State (3-5) brought the lead back to 12 behind four free throws from Hansen.
