HOUSTON (AP) — Ricmonds Vilde scored 14 points and grabbed a career-high 16 rebounds to lead Houston Baptist to a dominating 99-84 victory over Arlington Baptist on Saturday night.

Houston Baptist (4-3) controlled the boards, pulling down 54 rebounds to the Patriots' 26. The Huskies dominated underneath, scoring 64 of their points in the paint.

Houston Baptist had five players in double figures as Marcel Smith had 13 and a eight assists, Jourdan Stickler added a career-high 12 points, Reveael Chuckwujekwu contributed 11 and Cody Stetler chipped in 10.

Arlington Baptist managed to stay within striking distance in the first half but the Huskies, leading 50-41 at the break, opened the final period with a 15-5 run and sprinted to a 90-65 advantage with 4:17 remaining.

The Huskies made 39 of 62 from the floor (62.9 percent) while holding Arlington Baptist to 31-of-74 shooting (41.9 percent).

Raphael Garcia led the Patriots with 18.
