LAS VEGAS (AP) — Some incoming flights were delayed by nearly two hours today because of rain and low clouds at McCarran International Airport in Las Vegas. It's the same huge storm system that caused power outages in the Reno-Tahoe area yesterday with wind gusts of up to 147 mph. Power company crews say the Stateline area on Lake Tahoe's south shore and Reno's Caughlin Ranch area were hardest hit.

LAS VEGAS (AP) — Authorities have identified a man found dead by a police SWAT team inside a Las Vegas Strip hotel room as 57-year-old Scott Allan Williams of Greenville, Texas. The Clark County coroner says that Williams died of a self-inflicted gunshot to the head. His death was ruled a suicide.
