OMAHA, Neb. (AP) — Tre'Shawn Thurman scored 18 points and Omaha trounced Nevada 78-54 on Saturday.

Mike Rostampour added 17 points and Marcus Tyus had 12 as Omaha (3-2) shot 50 percent from the floor, including 7 of 15 (47 percent) from beyond the arc. Tyus was perfect on five shots from the floor, including a pair of 3s, and Thurman blocked five shots.

Nevada (2-4) was led by AJ West with 10 points and Marqueze Coleman had nine. The Wolfpack went just 3 of 17 on 3-pointers.

It was a tight first half, with no lead larger than five, and Tyus' 3-pointer with 1 second left gave Omaha a 32-31 lead at intermission.

The second half was a different story, as Omaha opened up a 16-point lead after a 9-0 run that saw Nevada scoreless for 3:38. The lead reached 20 on Thurman's jumper with 8:23 to go.
