LAS VEGAS (AP) — Nevada Highway Patrol says a semi-truck crash at Yates-Well Road in Nipton, California is what caused a traffic jam on southbound Interstate 15 near the Nevada and California state line.
Trooper Loy Hixon said Friday that one southbound lane just south of Primm on the Nevada state line was open as of 6 p.m.
A California Highway Patrol dispatcher confirmed officers responded to reports of a semi-truck crash at 2:55 p.m.
