(KSL News) A Utah missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is recovering from a broken jaw this morning after being attacked.
The Deseret News reports Elder Tyler Bowen from Fruit Heights was serving near Richmond, Va., when he was assaulted. His family confirmed the attack but doesn't know much else about the incident. They say he's fine and has actually returned to work.
The LDS Church issued a statement confirming there was an incident in Virginia but labeled it as a minor confrontation.
