HOLLADAY — Police were looking Monday for two men suspected of robbing a Wells Fargo Bank in a takeover-style robbery.

Just before 11 a.m., two men wearing clear masks with green and red tint that covered their entire face went into Wells Fargo, 4711 S. Highland Drive. One man immediately brandished a handgun and ordered everyone to the ground, and the other jumped over the counter and started going through the cashier drawers, said Unified Police Lt. Justin Hoyal.

The second man put an undisclosed amount of cash into a black bag, and both men ran out the door.

Both were described as black men in their mid-20s wearing dark hoodies. The alleged gunman was about 5 feet 11 inches, 180 pounds, and wore dark pants and white and pink gloves.

The second man was about 5 feet 9 inches, 170 pounds and carried a black backpack.

There was one customer and several employees in the bank at the time, Hoyal said. No one was injured. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 385-468-9813.
