LOS ANGELES — A favorite dance from “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air” found its way back onto the silver screen.

Actor Alfonso Ribeiro donned a cardigan and bow tie on “Dancing With the Stars” in true Carlton fashion to do his signature dance from the 1990’s show. His performance with partner Witney Carson, who is from American Fork, earned the duo a perfect score.

“I love the Carlton dance. I love how it makes people feel,” he said on the show. “I certainly don’t do it a lot. But I love the fact that people have this nostalgic look at that dance.”

While waiting for his score, Ribeiro provided the two keys to dancing the Carlton — leading with your hands and coming over the top. Watch the video to see the technique in action.
