DETROIT (AP) — Chrysler is recalling 21,470 full-size commercial vans in the U.S. and Canada to fix a problem with the headrests.
The recall covers 2014 Ram ProMaster vans. The company says the headrests can exceed the maximum allowable gap between a person's head and the head restraint. As a result, the headrests may allow occupants' heads to fall back too far in an accident.
Chrysler says it doesn't know of any crashes or injuries from the problem.
Dealers will replace the headrest for free. Owners will be notified next month about when they can bring the vans in for repairs.
