TOOELE — A teenage boy riding an ATV with his father was killed in a crash Sunday afternoon.
The father and son were on the ATV with the son driving when the boy swerved to miss a branch and the vehicle rolled about 5 p.m., Tooele County Sheriff's deputy Dean Adams said.
The father, who sustained minor injuries, was able to drive the boy back to their camp on the ATV to call for help and then continued on to meet emergency responders, Adams said.
The teen was taken by medical helicopter to Primary Children's Hospital where he was pronounced dead. His name was not released Sunday.
