TOWSON, Md. (AP) — James Kenner ran for one touchdown and Stacey Bedell ran for another Saturday to help Stony Brook beat Towson 14-3 in a game marked by four turnovers.

Davonte Anderson intercepted a pass by Connor Frazier and returned it 52 yards to the Towson 47 and Stony Brook (2-3, 1-0 Colonial) scored 11 plays later on a 1-yard run by Bedell .

Towson's Tye Smith intercepted a pass by Conor Bednarski late in the second quarter and returned it 1 yard to the Stony Brook 29 and the Tigers (2-4, 0-2) scored six plays later on a 26-yard field goal by Sam Hurwitz.

Both defenses dug in in the third quarter until Towson's Jordan Mynatt intercepted a pass by Bednarski on the Stony Brook 23, but the Seawolves missed a 20-yard field goal try.

Kenner's 2-yard TD run at 1:24 in the fourth quarter capped a 10-play, 49-yard drive.
