NEW YORK (AP) — Bakken cruised to a three-length victory Thursday in the $80,000 allowance feature at Belmont Park.
Ridden by Javier Castellano and trained by Chad Brown, the 4-year-old set the pace for his third win in five starts. He ran 6 1/2 furlongs in 1:15.87 on the fast track.
Bakken paid $3, $2.40 and $2.10. Sam Sparkle returned $8.20 and $3.90, and Captain Serious paid $2.70 to show.
