OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) — An Oklahoma City police officer charged with sexually assaulting 10 women has been ordered jailed for two weeks and has had his bond increased by $109,000.
An Oklahoma County judge on Thursday ordered Daniel Holtzclaw to serve 14 days in jail and boosted his bond to $609,000 after he violated a bond condition. Holtzclaw's bondsman, Beau Adams, says his client went to his doctor's office without first reporting his trip, which is a violation.
The 27-year-old Holtzclaw was arrested and charged in August with 16 counts that include rape, sexual battery and stalking. Ten more charges were added last week after prosecutors said they identified two additional victims.
Holtzclaw has pleaded not guilty to the charges. His attorney did not immediately return a phone call seeking comment.
