NEW YORK (AP) — Three Alarm Fire easily won the $77,000 allowance feature Wednesday at Belmont Park.
A 3-year-old making only his third start, Three Alarm Fire powered to 3 1/2-length victory over Encryption for his second straight win. Joel Rosario was aboard for trainer Tom Albertrani as the gelding ran 1 1/16 miles in 1:41.95.
Three Alarm Fire paid $3.20, $2.40 and $2.10. Encryption returned $2.70 and $2.40, and The Brothers Rap paid $2.80 to show.
