AUBURN, Ala. (AP) — Auburn coach Gus Malzahn says he's not counting out three injured starters from returning against LSU.

The fifth-ranked Tigers had linebackers Kris Frost and Cassanova McKinzy and right tackle Patrick Miller leave the Louisiana Tech game with injuries. Malzahn says all three are "day to day" for Saturday's game against No. 15 LSU but he's hoping they'll be able to play.

Guard Avery Young is a former starter at right tackle and moved over to replace Miller against Louisiana Tech. Devonte Danzey took over Chad Slade's spot at left guard, while Slade moved to the right side.

Frost's backup is true freshman Tre' Williams while Anthony Swain is No. 2 at the other linebacker spot. McKinzy is Auburn's leader with 29 tackles. Frost has 12 tackles and two sacks.
