BLACKFOOT, Idaho (AP) — An outside agency is investigating the death of a 29-year-old man who died in the presence of eastern Idaho police and probation officers.
Blackfoot Mayor Paul Loomis tells the Post Register (http://www.postregister.com/node/64285) in a story on Tuesday that the Blackfoot Police Department immediately asked an outside entity to assist following the Aug. 2 death of Kyle Eddington at Bingham Memorial Hospital.
Loomis declined to say whether Eddington was in custody, why he died, or what outside agency is investigating.
Court records show Eddington was admitted to felony drug court in 2012 after pleading guilty in 2010 to grand theft.
Authorities say he graduated from drug court in March 2014.
