McCown inactive for Bucs, Foster out for Steelers

PITTSBURGH (AP) — Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Josh McCown is inactive for Sunday's game against Pittsburgh due to an injury in his right thumb. Mike Glennon will make his first start of the season.

Running back Doug Martin and defensive tackle Gerald McCoy will play for the winless Buccaneers. Both missed last week's 56-14 loss to Atlanta due to injury.

Wide receiver Robert Herron, running back Mike James, defensive end Larry English, linebacker Mason Foster, tackle Kevin Pamphile and guard Kadeem Edwards are also inactive for Tampa Bay.

Pittsburgh guard Ramon Foster will miss his second consecutive game due to an ankle injury. Cody Wallace will fill in for Foster.

Linebacker Ryan Shazier, cornerback Ike Taylor, wide receiver Martavis Bryant, quarterback Landry Jones, defensive tackle Daniel McCutcllers and offensive lineman Wesley Johnson are also inactive for Pittsburgh.
