NORFOLK, Va. (AP) — Cameron Marouf kicked three field goals and Tyler Clark scored on a 1-yard run with 29 seconds left to lead Norfolk State past Morgan State 15-14 on Saturday.

Marouf made kicks from 43, 26 and 44 yards as Norfolk State (1-4, 1-0 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference) took a 9-0 lead into the fourth quarter.

Morgan State (2-3, 1-1) got on the board with 14:52 remaining, when Orlando Johnson scored a 23-yard touchdown run.

After forcing a Norfolk State punt, Morgan State drove 65 yards, on nine rushes by either Robert Council or Herb Walker, Jr., and took a 14-9 lead with 8:28 remaining on a 5-yard touchdown run by Walker.

Norfolk State took possession with 4:55 to play and converted three third downs and two fourth downs — including a 17-yard pass from Terrance Ervin to Isaac White on third-and-15 — during a 14-play, 49-yard drive capped by Clark's winning score.
