DALLAS (AP) — Johnathan Williams threw two touchdown passes and Juwan Martin ran for the winning touchdown in the third quarter as Grambling State defeated Prairie View A&M 26-20 on Saturday.

Martin's touchdown capped an 80-yard drive that broke a 20-20 tie as the Tigers (2-3, 2-0 Southwest Athletic Conference) broke a three-game losing streak in the Southwest State Fair Classic at the Cotton Bowl.

Jerry Lovelocke scored on a 1-yard run and Johnta' Herbert ran eight yards for a score as the Panthers (0-4, 0-2) opened up 7-0 and 14-7 leads. But Williams answered each score with a touchdown pass, 24 yards to Chad Williams and 32 yards to Verlon Hunter. The teams swapped field goals before Christopher Barrick's 42-yarder on the final play of the half gave Prairie View a 20-17 lead.

Grambling State's Marc Orozco connected from 24 yards to tie the game again early in the third quarter.
