BAY CITY, Mich. (AP) — A 32-year-old Bay City teacher has admitted to having sex several times with a 14-year-old student.
The Bay City Times reports (http://bit.ly/1t3fLBG ) Sarah Raymo pleaded guilty Friday in a Bay County court to two counts of third-degree criminal sexual conduct. Prosecutors dropped four counts of first-degree criminal sexual conduct in exchange for her pleas.
The charge to which she confessed carries a prison sentence of up to 15 years.
The teen testified in January that he had sex with Raymo at least a half-dozen times at the middle school and at the boy's home during the 2012-13 school year.
Raymo was facing trial next week. Her sentencing is scheduled for Nov. 10.
