VERNAL — A Uintah County man is facing felony charges after two girls under the age of 14 told investigators he gave them liquor and then repeatedly groped one of them.
Seth L. Forster was charged Thursday in 8th District Court with three counts of aggravated sexual abuse of a child, a first-degree felony. He is also charged with three counts of furnishing alcohol to a minor and two counts of lewdness involving a child, all class A misdemeanors.
Forster, 37, gave Dr. Pepper mixed with whiskey to a pair of 13-year-old girls and a 12-year-old girl while they were in a hot tub at his house on Sept. 13, according to charging documents. When one of the 13-year-olds left, the other two girls said Forster got into the hot tub with them.
The 12-year-old told detectives Forster repeatedly touched the older girl inappropriately. Forster also stripped in front of the girls and ran naked through the house, the charges state, and encouraged the 13-year-old to expose herself.
"Eventually the girls were able to get away from (Forster) and went over to a friend's house," the charges state.
Detectives interviewed Forster after his arrest. He acknowledged that he undressed in front of the girls while playing "Truth or Dare" and that he provided them with alcohol, investigators said.
Forster was released from jail after posting bail. His first court appearance is Oct. 20.
