ALLEN PARK, Mich. (AP) — Detroit Lions tight end Joseph Fauria has been ruled out of Sunday's game against the New York Jets because of an ankle injury after what coach Jim Caldwell described as a misstep around the house.

Caldwell said Thursday that Fauria's injury was a twisted ankle. He is out Sunday, and so are linebacker Travis Lewis (quadriceps) and cornerback Cassius Vaughn (ankle).

Star receiver Calvin Johnson is listed as questionable with an ankle issue, but he was able to practice in a limited fashion Friday.

Safety James Ihedigbo is probable after missing the first three games of the season with a neck problem.
