YELLOWSTONE NATIONAL PARK, Wyo. (AP) — A judge has ordered a Dutch man to pay more than $3,000 for crashing a drone into the biggest hot spring in Yellowstone National Park. The drone flown by Theodorus Van Vliet crashed into the Grand Prismatic spring in August. Park officials have yet to be able to recover the drone. Last week, a German man pleaded guilty for flying a drone that crashed into Yellowstone Lake. Park officials say a third drone case involving an Oregon man is still pending.

BOISE, Idaho (AP) — Idaho health officials say an unusual respiratory virus that's been causing illness among children across the U.S. is in Idaho. The Idaho Department of Health and Welfare says the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has confirmed the presence of the enterovirus D68. Officials say a child hospitalized in eastern Idaho tested positive for the virus. The child has recovered.

YELLOWSTONE NATIONAL PARK, Wyo. (AP) — Entrance fees will be waived at Yellowstone National Park and at Montana's Glacier National Park tomorrow to celebrate National Public Lands Day. Organizers say National Public Lands Day is the largest, single-day volunteer effort for public lands in the United States.

COEUR D'ALENE, Idaho (AP) — A young black bear that visited a northern Idaho middle school whose mascot is a grizzly bear has been captured and is being returned to the wild. The Coeur d'Alene Press reports that Idaho Fish and Game officials tranquilized the bear after it climbed down from a large tree on Wednesday. Wildlife officials say the bear was looking for a place to live when it came across Woodland Middle School - home of the Grizzlies - in Coeur d'Alene.
