WASHINGTON (AP) — The game between the New York Mets and Washington Nationals scheduled for Wednesday night was postponed because of rain.
The Nationals, with the best record in the NL, and Mets will now play a day-night doubleheader Thursday with the games starting at 1:05 p.m. and 7:05 p.m.
Rain kept the game from starting. The teams had been set to play a single game Thursday night.
