CONWAY, Ark. (AP) — Marcelo Bonani kicked a career-best 53-yard field goal as time expired to give Missouri State a 33-31 win over Central Arkansas on Saturday night.

Willie Matthews scored with 59 seconds remaining to give UCA (1-3) a 31-30 lead. Kierra Harris, who finished with 342 yards and two touchdowns, quickly moved Missouri State (3-1) to UCA's 36 where Bonani lined up for the winning field goal. Harris was on his own 40 with 30 seconds remaining when he hit Julian Burton with a 29-yard pass to get Bonani within range. Bonani had missed a point after attempt in the second quarter.

Missouri State led 20-17 at the end of the third quarter. Harris padded that when he hit Josh Mattes for a score. Matthews answered with a 13-yard score as UCA trailed 27-24. Bonani kicked a 34-yarder for a 30-24 advantage before Matthews' 1-yard run put UCA up by one.
