SPARTA, Ky. (AP) — Brennan Poole held off Matt Tifft to win the 150-mile ARCA Series race Friday night at Kentucky Speedway.

Making just his seventh start this season and first on the 1.5-mile oval, Poole started eighth in the No. 15 Toyota and stayed out during a caution to take the lead on lap 74. He went on to win by 1.3 seconds for his sixth career ARCA win and first victory since August 2013, at Springfield, Illinois.

Series points leader Mason Mitchell finished third and widened his points lead from 50 coming in to 200 over Grant Enfinger, who exited early with a blown engine and finished 30th.

Louisville teenager Ben Rhodes, 17, led 26 laps after starting fifth and had surged from 11th on a Lap 79 restart up to third within eight laps. But he spun and hit the Turn 2 wall after bumping with Tifft in a side-by-side duel and finished 27th.
