TULSA, Okla. (AP) — The University of Oklahoma has announced it will use a $270,000 donation to support a health literacy library in Tulsa.
President David Boren announced the grant from the Morningcrest Healthcare Foundation on Wednesday. It will support the library at University of Oklahoma-Tulsa's Schusterman Clinic.
The library opened in March 2013 and is the only one in the state solely dedicated to consumer health information. Its books, periodicals and other resources are intended to help people make informed decisions about their health care.
