TROY, Mo. (AP) — Videos stored n a teen's cell phone have led authorities in northeast Missouri to charge an elementary school principal with sexual misconduct.
KTVI-TV (bit.ly/1uf1a7V ) reports that 37-year-old Phillip G. Brock was arrested Wednesday in Troy. He's now on paid administrative leave from his job as principal at William Cappel Elementary School in the Lincoln County R-3 district.
A 17-year-old told police of more than 20 episodes of sexual contact with Brock starting in May and ending earlier this week. Police say they also recovered text messages between the teen and Brock.
Brock, who coached soccer for the district and other non-school related teams, remained in jail Thursday on a $500,000, cash-only bond. The victim was not one of his current students.
