LAS VEGAS (AP) — Police have released a photo and a plea for information about a 44-year-old man found dead in April in a flood channel in the West Las Vegas neighborhood.

Las Vegas police Officer Laura Meltzer said Tuesday the jail booking photo of Michael Trudeau was taken following his arrest in Las Vegas last November on a jaywalking charge. The case was later dismissed.

Trudeau's body was found April 15 in a flood channel near B Street, Owens Avenue and Interstate 15.

The Clark County coroner later determined he had been stabbed to death.

Trudeau was originally from Garden City, Michigan.

Meltzer says police believe he may have been transient, and that he was last seen April 7, a week before his body was found.
