Colts deactivate injured LB Jerrell Freeman

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — Starting linebacker Jerrell Freeman will be inactive Monday night for the Colts because of a hamstring injury.

He will be replaced in the lineup against Philadelphia by former Army star Josh McNary.

Indianapolis center A.Q. Shipley also will replace Khaled Holmes and Jonotthan Harrison for the second straight week. Holmes is out with an ankle injury, while Harrison is trying to come back from an injured right thumb.

Indianapolis (0-1) also deactivates receiver Da'Rick Rogers, running back Dion Lewis, linebacker Chris Carter and offensive guard Joe Reitz.

Philadelphia (1-0) puts quarterback Matt Barkley, receiver Josh Huff, defensive back Jaylen Watkins, offensive linemen Matt Tobin and Kevin Graf, linebacker Marcus Smith III and defensive end Taylor Hart on the inactive list.
