ASHBURN, Va. (AP) — Washington Redskins linebacker Brian Orakpo is questionable for Sunday's game against the Houston Texans after being limited in practice this week with a sprained right ankle.
Coach Jay Gruden said Orakpo "did a little" at practice Friday. Gruden said the team will "get a better look" at Orakpo on Saturday and "hopefully he'll be ready."
The three-time Pro Bowl player was injured in the preseason game against the Baltimore Ravens on Aug. 23.
Nickel cornerback Tracy Porter and backup linebacker Akeem Jordan have been ruled out for Sunday. Porter has a nagging hamstring injury and hasn't practiced all week. Jordan has a knee injury.
