Red Sox recall RHP Workman from Triple-A

NEW YORK (AP) — The Boston Red Sox have added pitcher Brandon Workman for his fourth stint with the team this season.

The Red Sox recalled the right-hander from Triple-A Pawtucket before Wednesday night's game against New York at Yankee Stadium.

The 26-year-old Workman is 1-8 with a 4.93 ERA in 16 games for Boston, including 12 starts. He was sent down to Pawtucket on Aug. 24 and made one start.
