ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (AP) — The Buffalo Bills have released tight end Tony Moeaki after reaching an injury settlement with the fourth-year player.

Moeaki missed most of training camp due to an assortment of injuries and was been placed on the Bills reserve/injured list on Friday. The Bills were giving the oft-injured player a second chance after signing Moeaki late last season.

In other moves Monday, Buffalo signed offensive guard D.J. Morell and running back Lonnie Pryor to the practice squad.

Morrell spent the preseason with St. Louis before being cut. Pryor was waived by Tampa Bay last week, and spent last season on the Buccaneers' practice squad.

The Bills open the season at Chicago on Sunday.
