HOUSTON (AP) — Wisconsin senior defensive end Konrad Zagzebski left in the first quarter of Saturday night's LSU-Wisconsin game with an apparent neck injury.
Zagzebski was injured on a head-first tackle into LSU running back Kenny Hilliard.
Trainers brought a stretcher onto the field to attend to Zagzebski, who lay motionless for several minutes. Many Badgers went down on one knee as trainers stabilized Zagzebski and took him off the field. He gave a thumbs-up sign that drew applause.
