HOUSTON (AP) — David Glasco II scored two first-half touchdowns to help Texas-San Antonio beat Houston 27-7 in the season opener for both teams Friday night.

Glasco, who ran for 81 yards on 25 carries, scored on a 3-yard run in the first quarter after Houston punter Dylan Seibert lost 42 yards, then fumbled, setting up UTSA at the 3. Glasco added a 2-yard touchdown run in the second quarter.

Jarveon Williams' 11-yard touchdown run capped a 13-play, 60-yard drive in the third quarter, and Sean Ianno kicked a 26-yard field goal after Bennett Okotcha intercepted John O'Korn's pass in Houston territory. O'Korn threw four interceptions and finished 22 of 44 for 215 yards.

Ianno added a 30-yard field goal in the fourth quarter.

Houston got on the board with 1:04 left on Ryan Jackson's 2-yard run.

Texas-San Antonio held Houston to minus-27 yards rushing.
