PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) — Prosecutors in Rhode Island say there will be no charges against two Brown University football players who had been accused of sexual assault.

A Providence College student told police in February she believes she had been drugged at a bar in November. She says she woke up in a Brown dorm room and was sexually assaulted.

The attorney general's office said Monday a grand jury declined to indict the players and no charges will be brought.

Lawyers for both players said their clients are relieved by the grand jury's decision.

The university said it would have no comment on the case. A school spokesman said he could not say whether the players will return to start classes next week.
