(KSL News) It wasn't an Iron Chef meal, but it wasn't your standard military meal either.
The top chefs from all five military branches went spoon-to-spatula in the Freedom Chef Challenge event hosted at the Salt Palace.
The chefs, usually accustomed to the galley, pulled out all the stops with dishes ranging from gazpacho to walnut pilaf to shepherd's pie.
The winning team was the Army.
