DES MOINES, Iowa (AP) — In a story Aug. 20, The Associated Press reported that KH Consulting, of Los Angeles, was fired from its role of reviewing academic programs at Iowa's three public universities as part of a wide-ranging effort by Deloitte Consulting to reduce spending. The story should have made clear that KH Consulting was replaced after the Iowa Board of Regents, which oversees the universities, decided to slow-down the cost-cutting study and KH wasn't able to accommodate the changed timeline.
