SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — Firefighters contained a small brush fire that was threatening two homes near South Ogden.
Weber Fire District Marshal Brandon Thueson said the 1-acre fire was reported around 11 a.m. Wednesday and put it out within a few hours. A portion of northbound U.S. 89 was closed due to the fire.
Thueson said nobody was injured and no homes were damaged.
Officials don't know the cause of the fire.
Firefighters from five different agencies worked together to put out the blaze.
