BLACKFOOT, Idaho (AP) — The Bingham County sheriff's office has begun a homicide investigation after a shooting death west of Blackfoot.
Deputies were dispatched at about 8 p.m. Monday to a report of a 21-year-old man who had been shot. The sheriff's office says Miguel Davalos died at the scene. An autopsy is planned Wednesday.
Sheriff Craig Rowland says officers are interviewing several people about the shooting.
